Robert Downey Jr Drops Major Avengers Doomsday Spoilers Through Easter Eggs

Robert Downey Jr hints at major Marvel returns in Avengers Doomsday as fans decode hidden Easter eggs featuring iconic heroes and surprising clues.

Robert Downey Jr has shared an interesting hint about the upcoming film Avengers Doomsday during Easter this year. The actor, who is widely known for playing Iron Man, is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, this time he will not be seen as Iron Man. Instead, he will appear as Doctor Doom.

The update came through his Instagram post where he shared an image of Doctor Doom holding a basket filled with Easter eggs. These eggs were not ordinary. Each one had symbols connected to different Marvel characters, giving fans clues about who might appear in the film.

Some of the clearly visible symbols included a blood covered shield of Captain America, references to Spider Man, Black Panther, the Avengers logo shown as a cracked egg, as well as hints of the X Men and the Fantastic Four which appeared crossed out. Other characters hinted at include Namor and Shang Chi.

Fans also noticed something unusual. There were two eggs related to Spider Man, which has led to speculation about multiple versions of the character appearing in the story.

The film already has a large cast. Along with Robert Downey Jr, actors like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Florence Pugh, Simu Liu and Tom Hiddleston are confirmed to appear. Many other well known actors are also part of the project, making it one of the biggest Marvel films so far.

Avengers Doomsday is expected to release in Indian theatres on 18th December 2026. The teaser has already increased curiosity among fans as they try to understand how all these characters will connect in the story.
