Spider-Man enthusiasts need not worry because Tom Holland has officially dropped the teaser and first look for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. On Instagram, the 29-year-old actor gave us a 22-second glimpse, once again fueling anticipation for the next installment in the Spider-Man saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A New Bold Suit and Teaser Reveal
The teaser begins with Holland’s Peter Parker passing through a huge doorway, wearing a brand new Spider-Man suit that is very similar to the comic book one. With more defined colors, emboldened black web lines, and a larger chest emblem, the suit is a new look that distinguishes it from the ones used in Homecoming and No Way Home. Standing in front of the camera, Holland asks, “Are we ready? before the screen goes dark to the release date of “7.31.2026.”
He tagged the teaser with, “Are you ready? – 7.31.2026,” causing fans to go into a frenzy online.
Fan Frenzy and Glasgow Filming
The fans soon dominated the comment section with compliments. One of them wrote, “Brand New Day could be the cleanest Spidey suit yet.” Another commented, “I like the Homecoming suit, but this one looks great!
While that’s happening, filming is already underway in Glasgow, Scotland, with Glasgow standing in for New York. There are rumors of an epic battle scene between Spider-Man and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher being planned.

Cast and Direction Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will welcome back cast members Zendaya (MJ), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), and some new additions such as Jon Bernthal (Punisher), Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando. Plot points are kept under lock and key, but the movie will swing into theaters on July 31, 2026.
