Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are turning heads both on and off screen. After working together on the upcoming comedy The Naked Gun, the two stars have reportedly struck up a budding romance. A source close to the production revealed to PEOPLE, “It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”
Neeson, 73, and Anderson, 58, are said to be “enjoying each other’s company” as they promote the film, which hits theaters this Friday, August 1.
Red Carpet Moments and On-Screen Chemistry
The duo appeared together at the film’s New York premiere on July 28, where they were joined by their respective sons—Anderson’s Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, and Neeson’s Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28. Just days earlier, Anderson gave Neeson a playful kiss on the cheek at the London premiere.
They continued the flirtatious energy on the Today show on July 29, sharing a humorous moment where they pretended to be caught making out on live television.
Mutual Admiration
Neeson hasn’t shied away from praising Anderson. In an October 2024 interview with PEOPLE, he said, “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her… She’s funny and so easy to work with.” Anderson returned the admiration, calling Neeson “the perfect gentleman” and sharing that he “brings out the best in you.”
In a recent Entertainment Weekly cover story, Anderson described their bond as “very sincere, very loving,” and shared that they connected over a love for literature and humor. She revealed they often had “romantic” cast dinners while keeping things “professionally romantic” during filming.
