BTS member V, or Kim Taehyung, is in Paris as he prepares to topbill the highly coveted Fashion Week of luxury fashion brand Celine. Prior to the highly anticipated event, the K-pop sensation was spotted having a welcome party with his longtime buddy, K-drama star Park Bo Gum.
Paris Welcome Party
Snapshots and clips posted on the web reveal V dancing enthusiastically during a welcome party thrown in his honor. With friends and visitors around him, V appeared to be laid-back and content as champagne bottles were opened and the onlookers applauded to make his trip to Paris a memorable one. To celebrate, the singer went for an elegant look — a black leather jacket over a white T-shirt, accompanied by blue denim jeans. He topped off the look with Celine accessories and shades, finishing with an effortlessly stylish look.

Military Discharge and Emotional Reunion
V’s Paris visit comes after his formal release from South Korea’s compulsory military service on June 10, 2025. Following the heartwarming homecoming at the Chuncheon Sports Park, Gangwon Province, he was accompanied by fellow BTS member RM. The two superstars were spotted in uniform, with RM taking turns playing the saxophone and V carrying flower bouquets, welcomed warmly by fans across the world.

Later, V posted an emotional Instagram story with a picture of himself and RM arm-in-arm in uniform. He also shared their enlistment and discharge dates — from December 11, 2023, to June 10, 2025.
BTS Announces Group Comeback
With all seven members now officially discharged, BTS has made their much-awaited group comeback announcement. In a surprise 30-minute Weverse livestream, BTS announced that they plan to drop a new album and go on a global tour in spring 2026 — making their complete comeback since their last group activity in September 2022.
