‘The Christmas Chronicles 2’ trailer has arrived and it looks promising.
Netflix has released the first official trailer for the upcoming holiday film featuring longtime couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Set two years after the events of ‘The Christmas Chronicles’ which released in 2018, the sequel reunites the Claus family with Kate (Darby Camp), though she’s joined this time by the son (Jahzir Bruno) of her mom’s new boyfriend (Tyrese Gibson).
The trailer sees Kate (Camp) and Jack (Bruno) teaming up with Santa (Russell) and Mrs. Claus (Hawn) after a mysterious troublemaker named Belsnickel (Julian Dennison) steals the Christmas Star from Santa’s village and plots to destroy the North Pole. The group must work together to save Christmas.
The first installment was a huge hit for the streaming giant and fans have been eagerly waiting for ‘The Christmas Chronicles 2’ for quite some time now.
‘The Christmas Chronicles 2’ is directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone), who produced the first movie.
Netflix previously released a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel.
‘The Christmas Chronicles 2 is set to premiere Nov. 25 in select theaters and on Netflix.
