The popular K-pop group, ENHYPEN, has officially marked the beginning of comeback season as they announced the release date of their eagerly awaited new album. After a fiery year of success, the seven-member group will make a comeback with a new album on January 16, as announced by their agency, BELIFT LAB. This will be their comeback since June 2025, when they released their successful album Desire: Unleash.
This surprise comeback news immediately went viral on X, as fans swarmed in the comments. They’d been eagerly waiting for this moment for months, as ENHYPEN has been hinting all along that they were “working on a really incredible album, and we’re all set to return soon.” This confirmation of their return came when the group performed at the KSPO Dome on October 26, assuring fans that “we are working on a really great album, a really cool album.”
Their comeback follows a monumental fifth year as a group, solidifying their position among the most impactful K-pop boy bands of their generation. In 2025, they kicked off their critically acclaimed debut performance at Coachella, claimed their third double-million seller with “Desire: Unleash,” completed a massively successful world tour, and swept major award shows. They received a number of premier awards at the 2025 MAMA Awards, including Fan’s Choice Male Top 10, TELASA Favourite Global Artist, and most importantly, Fan’s Choice of the Year, also known as Daesang.

Their worldwide impact also extends into the world of social media. ENHYPEN has been named the best K-pop boy group on TikTok for the second consecutive year, as reported in TikTok’s “Year in Music” report published on December 10. The group’s TikTok page accumulated 4.2 billion views and 761 million likes, which clearly reflects their unmatched online presence.
Musically, the group also showed incredible prowess in various world album charts. Their mini-album, DESIRE: UNLEASH, positioned No. 9 in World Albums, No. 20 in Top Current Album Sales, and No. 22 in Top Album Sales. On the other hand, their 2024 album, ROMANCE: UNTOLD, also performed well in world album charts, taking No. 9 in World Albums and doing well in other album sales.
These wins have further enabled ENHYPEN to break their own record for being the longest-charting K-pop boy group in Billboard 200. Their momentum has never been higher, and their return in January 2026 will undoubtedly be among the most exciting K-pop releases of that year, as it will fuel their fans.
