The love season is almost here as we enter the month of February. Over the years, we have noticed how singers, composers, and musical artists have created some of the most mesmerizing tracks, especially around Valentine’s, to make listeners and music lovers feel more drenched in love. This time as well, an upcoming love track is on its way to get straight into the audience’s heart; it is titled ‘Mujhe Meri Tarah’.
Mujhe Meri Tarah will be released on 7th February 2022, as a soft romantic duet sung by two incredible musical artists and singers, Jyotica Tangri and Sanket Banker. It is already being promoted as a Valentine’s Day Special song, for which singers’ fans and admirers can’t control their excitement already. It features actors Vishv Sharma and Nidhi Gangta.
Jyotica Tangri’s vocals very effortlessly showcase the loneliness and yearning of the actress for her boyfriend in the song. Narrating the boy’s side of the story musically, Sanket Banker does a commendable job acting as a “sutradhar” through his euphonic voice. Both the singers phenomenally portray the two protagonists’ insatiable longing to meet each other, which is what makes the characters in the song sing, “Mujhe Meri Tarah, Hai Tu Bhi Chahata, Jaan Ke Dil Ko Mila Hai Ab Sukoon.”
Talking more about it, the singers highlight that it is about two loving souls who are far yet so close, where it reminds people that love is about accepting and embracing the partner completely. It is the separation that makes two souls feel one. Jyotica Tangri, the female lead singer, is a popular name in Bollywood, having given her beautiful voice in films like Fukrey Returns, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Laila Majnu, and more. In 2018, she even won the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Playback Singer. Sanket Banker, on the other hand, is a banker-turned-singer and YouTuber with a huge subscriber base. He was ranked second on Reverbnation’s India Pop charts and has also sung across multiple regional and foreign languages.
The song ‘Mujhe Meri Tarah’ has been written by Syed Amir Hussain and composed by Rishabh Srivastava, under the label Skillify, while the video direction has been done by Beno Pothen Kuruvilla.
