Kevin Jonas Breaks Free: “Changing” Set to Shake Up the Music Scene on this date

Kevin Jonas's Solo Debut "Changing" Arrives on this date

Nearly two decades after launching his career with the Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas is finally stepping into the spotlight with his first solo single. On October 26, the 37-year-old musician announced his much-awaited debut track Changing, set to release on November 20.

The reveal came during the Jonas Brothers’ Orlando livestream as part of their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown tour. In a surprise announcement, Kevin shared the exciting news with fans, expressing his disbelief and joy. “Hello from the sets of the Changing cover shoot. I can’t believe I can actually say that,” he said, posting behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the shoot.

Kevin also unveiled the song’s official cover and shared a heartwarming clip of his wife, Danielle Jonas, reacting emotionally when he performed Changing live during a concert. In the video, Danielle is seen tearing up and later FaceTiming their daughters to share the special moment. Earlier in August, during a show at Fenway Park, Kevin performed Changing for the first time, admitting, “I’m super nervous, so bear with me.” The song’s introspective lyrics — “Maybe I’m jaded. Maybe I’m chasin’ the highs to escape. So, I keep changing.” — immediately struck a chord with fans. The track has been produced by Mark Schick and Jason Evigan.

Kevin first entered the music scene with his brothers Nick and Joe in 2005. By 2011, both Joe and Nick had launched solo projects — Fastlife and Nick Jonas & the Administration — before the band went on hiatus in 2013 citing creative differences. They reunited in 2019 with the global hit Sucker and have since released three albums: Happiness Begins, The Album, and Greetings From Your Hometown.

While Nick and Joe explored solo careers earlier, Changing marks Kevin’s long-awaited individual debut. The Jonas Brothers’ current tour concludes on December 22 in Brooklyn, New York.
