Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet has added another major milestone to his career — a Grammy Award nomination. The actor, who portrayed music legend Bob Dylan in the 2024 biopic A Complete Unknown, has been nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for his musical performances in the film.
Directed by James Mangold, A Complete Unknown features Chalamet performing 17 of the
23 songs on the movie’s soundtrack, showcasing his vocal and musical talents. His convincing portrayal of Dylan, coupled with his soulful renditions of the singer-songwriter’s classics, earned him not only an Oscar nomination but also widespread critical acclaim, along with recognition at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Golden Globes.
The nominations for the 68th Grammy Awards, set to take place on February 1, 2026, at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, were announced on November 7, with Chalamet’s inclusion generating excitement across the internet. Celebrating the achievement, the 29-year-old actor reshared Rolling Stone’s post about his nomination on Instagram Stories, adding the caption: “Dream big.”
Fans flooded social media with congratulatory messages. One user wrote, “You have to start somewhere — a Grammy seems like a good place to do that,” while another commented, “Mister!
