Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is fast turning into the biggest hit of 2025. Directed by Laxman Utekar, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the film has won over audiences with its action-packed historical sequences. Made by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films’ banner, the film has been running in incredible strength at the box office ever since its release.
Crossing Rs 300 Crore in Just 10 Days
The movie has already crossed Rs 300 crore at the box office within a span of 10 days, which is a remarkable feat. Even though collections dipped marginally because of the India vs Pakistan match, Chhaava is likely to make an extra Rs 15 crore on Day 11, taking its net collections to more than Rs 315 crore. The film is expected to reach the Rs 350 crore mark in its second week and is estimated to cross Rs 500 crore in its theatrical run.

Vicky Kaushal’s Career Milestone
For Vicky Kaushal, Chhaava is now a career highlight, overtaking his lifetime net business of his 2019 blockbuster, Uri: The Surgical Strike, which grossed Rs 244 crore. This is his second blockbuster as a lead actor, strengthening his standing in Bollywood even further.
The Star Cast and Competition
In addition to Vicky and Rashmika, Chhaava also includes Akshaye Khanna, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty. The film is already competing with other releases such as Mere Husband Ki Biwi as well as the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam. Yet it has neither slowed down nor given up its top spot at the box office.
