I was at the receiving end of bullying and was ill-treated by the fraternity. They often turned me down from shooting, saying I was fat.
She shares, “One day, I was invited for a shoot. I got my makeup, hair and everything else done. Later, I was told to leave as they need a model who’s not fat. It was disheartening but I didn’t give up and didn’t blame myself for these setbacks. I worked hard on myself and paved my own path.”
Today, Maanvi is busy with her influencer life, business, collaborations, and adventures. Her looks receive lots of love from her admirers, who even call her ‘India’s Kim Kardashian’. She’s happy that her life has turned out and that she didn’t let the obstacles take away her confidence and dream to make it big.
