The makers of Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya released the trailer of the upcoming series on Monday, July 13, 2026. Starring Kay Kay Menon in the lead role, the comedy drama tells the story of a government school headmaster who takes on the difficult task of improving the quality of education in his school. The trailer offers a glimpse into a story that blends humour, emotions and everyday challenges.
Kay Kay Menon plays Gyaneshwar Tripathi, the relaxed and easy going headmaster of Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, a government school. He appears content with his routine until he learns about a government initiative that could change everything. Under the programme, the headmasters of the 10 Delhi schools with the best board examination results will be selected for a government sponsored training programme in Cambridge.
Motivated by this opportunity, Tripathi decides to improve his school’s performance. He begins introducing changes aimed at helping students perform better in their studies and raising the school’s overall standards. However, the task proves to be much harder than he expects. The students are not always willing to cooperate, and he faces several obstacles while trying to put his plans into action. The trailer shows how he deals with these challenges while trying to inspire both students and teachers.
The series promises a mix of comedy and heartfelt moments as it follows Tripathi’s efforts to bring positive change to the school. Along with entertaining situations, the story also focuses on education, teamwork and the struggles faced by teachers working in government schools.
Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya has been written by Biswapati Sarkar, Akshay Asthana, Nupur Pai, Tatsat Pandey and Meghna Srivastava. The series is directed by Humank Gaur. It has been created and executive produced by Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena under the banner of Posham Pa Pictures.
The show will have 7 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on July 24. With Kay Kay Menon leading the cast, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya aims to present a simple yet engaging story about one man’s determination to improve his school despite the many challenges that come his way.
