Asim Riaz, one of the most talked-about reality TV stars, is once again in the spotlight and not for the best reasons. Known for his strong presence in Bigg Boss 13 and a brief appearance in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Asim is now reportedly at the center of controversy on the fitness-based reality show Battleground.
Fight with Abhishek Malhan Turns Ugly
Battleground, judged by cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, features Asim alongside other team leaders including Rubina Dilaik, Abhishek Malhan, and Rajat Dalal. According to India Today, a massive fight broke out on Thursday’s shoot between Asim and Abhishek. Rubina Dilaik tried to calm things down, but Asim allegedly insulted her, causing the shoot to halt. Reportedly, Asim was asked to leave the set following the altercation, though no official confirmation has been given yet.

Asim Questions Rubina’s Role, Abhinav Shukla Hits Back
Adding fuel to the fire, a recent promo of Battleground shows Asim questioning Rubina Dilaik’s credibility as a judge on a fitness show. He allegedly commented that she has no direct link to fitness. This did not sit well with Rubina’s husband, Abhinav Shukla, who responded strongly in the comment section of a YouTube video: “All jacked up muscle, no brain and bad attitude is not a sign of fitness.”

Pattern of Aggression?
This isn’t the first time Asim’s behavior has caused issues. He reportedly hit Rajat Dalal on the very first day of the show and has had continuous friction with Abhishek Malhan. His repeated clashes have raised concerns about his attitude on reality sets.
With the latest controversy brewing, it seems Asim’s journey on Battleground may have come to an abrupt end.
