A recent video released by the makers captures a tense altercation between Mumbai Strikers’ captain Rubina Dilaik and fellow team leader Asim Riaz. The spat began when Asim lost his cool after his team member, Chandni, failed to complete a task as per his instructions. He lashed out, saying, “What is this? What’s your attitude? What have you achieved?”
Rubina Stands Up as a Mentor
Rubina stepped in, reminding Asim that his role is that of a mentor, not a coach. However, Asim reacted sharply, insisting he is a coach and saying, “You don’t know about my real life.” Rubina criticized Asim for shaking Chandni’s confidence, to which he responded, “Am I breaking her confidence, or is she making me feel like I’m not present? Excuse me, this is not a serial.” This comment further escalated the situation, prompting Rubina to shout, “Asim, don’t go there!”

This isn’t the first time Rubina has faced confrontation on the show. In another viral clip, a contestant challenged her by saying she wasn’t listening, echoing her own advice about actors being good listeners. Rubina firmly responded, “I don’t want to be disrespected. Don’t talk to me like that. I’m saying this for your own good.” Abhishek Malhan backed her up, reminding the contestant that mentors speak for their benefit.
