The Mastermind Exposed! Criminal Justice Season 4 Ending Reveals the Real Killer – Anju or Dr. Raj?

Criminal Justice Season 4, featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, and Asha Negi, continues to keep viewers hooked with its emotionally intense plot and surprising twists. The show, which drops a new episode each Thursday, made a dramatic jump with its recent episode on July 3, with the emotional depth of a murder case.

The tale is one of Dr. Raj Nagpal (Zeeshan Ayyub) and his estranged wife Anju (Surveen Chawla), whose daughter Ira has Asperger’s syndrome. Ira is looked after by Roshni (Asha Negi), who is also Raj’s mistress and a nurse at his hospital. Their already complicated lives take an ominous twist when Roshni is found dead following Ira’s birthday party with Raj found holding her body, and he being the prime suspect.

Anju employs top lawyer Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi) to plead Raj’s case. Roshni’s jealousy and emotional unpredictability are initially presented as reasons for conflict. An unexpected turn is revealed when Anju claims she killed Roshni, saying she did it in a fit of anger after learning Roshni was poisoning Ira. But the twist is only just beginning.

Once Raj is acquitted, he encounters Madhav and informs him that Anju has terminal pancreatic cancer. Suspicious, Madhav reopens the case and confronts Anju. She finally confesses that Raj was the actual murderer—he discovered Roshni injuring their daughter and murdered her. Anju, already living with a terminal condition, opted to take the blame so Raj could bring up Ira.

In a heart-wrenching moment of ethical dilemma, Madhav documents her testimony but deletes it, upholding the welfare of the child above justice. This powerful gesture highlights the emotional and ethical nuances that frame the core of Criminal Justice Season 4.
