Divorce Drama Unleashed! Kim Kardashian Slams Her Way Through All’s Fair Trailer

Kim Kardashian is set to make a dramatic entrance into the world of scripted drama with her new project, All’s Fair. Joining forces with award-winning creator Ryan Murphy, Kardashian plays Allura Grant, a tough and clever divorce lawyer at the head of an all-female law practice that handles high-profile breakups, salacious affairs, and enormous settlements.

The trailer, just released for the show, introduces us to a sizzling legal drama, complete with sleek power suits, courtroom confrontations, and cutthroat repartee. Kardashian’s Allura is poised, assertive, and unapologetically in charge. She has no problem confronting cheating spouses or confronting arrogance when negotiations get heated. In one of the trailer’s moments, her character admonishes a smug husband, “Everything we’re going to show you today, you should be intimately familiar with,” suggesting the show’s edgy tone.

Side by side with Kardashian in this A-list cast are Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash-Betts, who portray her equally fierce co-workers. Glenn Close, the veteran actress, also makes a strong impression as the character Dina Standish, serving up the now-viral line, “Get mad! Get hot! Get revenge!”

The official synopsis refers to All’s Fair as a show about a band of smart and emotionally nuanced female lawyers who quit a male-dominated law firm to build their own legal empire. Together, they navigate fiery breakups, betrayals, and realignments both professionally and personally as they upend the rules of the game.

Kim Kardashian’s casting has created huge chatter, particularly in light of her own real-life ambition to become a lawyer following in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., who famously defended O.J. Simpson. Supporters are already comparing the show to popular series such as Suits, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder, setting All’s Fair up as one of the year’s most hotly anticipated shows.
