Gunshots Fired at Kap’s Caffe in Surrey
The incident occurred on July 10 when multiple gunshots were fired at Kap’s Caffe, a café owned by Kapil and his wife Ginni Chatrath. The café, known for its elegant pink-and-white interiors, floral decor, and artisan coffee menu, had recently celebrated a soft opening. While no injuries were reported, the property sustained damage and the peaceful celebration quickly turned chaotic.
Terror Links Suspected in Targeted Attack
Authorities believe the attack was a targeted strike allegedly orchestrated by the Laddi gang, reportedly linked to the banned Khalistani group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The gang’s leader, Laddi, is a wanted criminal in India for multiple terror-related offences and is believed to be behind several recent attacks on pro-India figures and Hindu leaders.

While Kapil Sharma has yet to comment, the team behind Kap’s Caffe issued a heartfelt statement:
