Creator Sudip Sharma returns with Season 2 of the slow-burn crime thriller, once again set against the moody, atmospheric backdrop of Punjab. Barun Sobti reprises his role as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi. However, the dynamics around him have changed. Gone is his former superior Balbir Singh. Stepping into command now is Mona Singh as Dhanwant Kaur, a tough, determined officer who becomes Garundi’s new boss at the Dalerpura Police Station. Both officers are described as fiercely dedicated to their work, even as the emotional walls protecting their personal lives begin to crumble.

Season 2 of Kohrra is created and written by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia, and Sudip Sharma. Produced by A Film Squad Production in association with Act Three, this season also marks Sharma’s directorial debut, sharing responsibilities with Faisal Rahman.
