Returning to reclaim their roles are popular favorites Park Ji-hu (Nam On-jo), Yoon Chan-young (Lee Cheong-san), Cho Yi-hyun (Choi Nam-ra) and Lomon (Lee Soo-hyuk). Netflix also released behind-the-scenes shots of the script-reading session, which involved the reunion of the cast and encounters with a zombie-costumed actor, further hyping up the horror-thriller sequel.

Complementing the original cast of Season 2 are Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Yoon Ga-i, and Roh Jae-won, who will have significant roles in the new storyline.

A New Outbreak and Lingering Trauma
Season 2 will switch its focus to Nam On-jo, who is a university student still troubled by the memory of surviving the zombie apocalypse at Hyosan High School. When another frightening outbreak occurs, she is forced to battle for survival once again in a new and treacherous world.

At the same time, Lee Cheong-san, who was earlier believed to have died, turns out to be alive. Along with Nam-ra and Soo-hyuk, he undergoes the constant effects of the virus and their past.

Creative Team Returns
The original directing team Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su are again directing, with Chun Sung-il again writing the screenplay. The series continues to be developed from Joo Dong-geun’s webtoon, retaining its dark, emotional, and action-oriented theme.

With production now in motion, fans can look forward to another gripping chapter in this acclaimed zombie saga.
