Netflix unleashes new 'Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' trailer

Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous,’ an all-new CG-animated series that is coming to the streaming platform this September.

The series follows the story of a bunch of teenagers that went to camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar only to be caught up in the events of the film series.

On Tuesday, the streaming giant unveiled the exciting new trailer and a poster for ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ on Twitter, offering the first extended look at the animated series.

“A thrilling adventure awaits as six campers uncover the wonders and secrets of Isla Nublar. Discover the other side of the island in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, coming to @netflix September 18th!” Netflix captioned the video.

The new trailer for the spin-off series showcases some nail-biting action sequences including various camp activities, such as island tours, rock climbing, kayaking, obstacle courses and, of course, real dinosaurs, reports IGN.

‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ is animated by DreamWorks Animation Studios for Universal Pictures & Amblin.

The series features a diverse voice cast including Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius, Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy, Ryan Potter as Kenji, Jameela Jamil as Roxie, Sean Giambrone as Ben, Kausar Mohammed as Yaz and Glen Powell as Dave.

‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, Frank Marshall, Scott Kreamer, Aaron Hammersley, and Lane Lueras.

Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley serve as both executive producers and showrunners on the new series, which is developed by Zack Stentz.

‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ officially debuts on Netflix on September 18.
