Red Notice: Ryan Reynolds begins shooting for upcoming Netflix thriller

After months-long hiatus, Ryan Reynolds has resumed shooting for the upcoming action thriller 'Red Notice', co-starring Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson

After months-long hiatus, Ryan Reynolds has resumed shooting for the upcoming action thriller ‘Red Notice’, co-starring Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson.

The Deadpool actor took to Instagram on Saturday, where he shared pictures from the set in which he can be seen undergoing a swab test for the dreaded COVID-19.

He also revealed that the pictures were clicked by his wife Blake Lively.

“Back to work on #RedNotice. The Covid Test is quick and easy. The doctor places the swab up your nose, just deep enough to tickle your childhood memories and then it’s over. No matter what you say to him, he won’t buy you dinner first,” Ryan Reynolds wrote.

On Thursday, Gal Gadot had shared a photo on Twitter getting the swab test done.

She wrote alongside the photo, “Getting ready to head back to the ‘Red Notice’ set but prep looks a little different no… #staysafe” she posted on Twitter.

Netflix had halted the shoot for’Red Notice’ back in March in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The film was reportedly being shot across the world since February and had moved to Atlanta in early March.

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, ‘Red Notice’ follows an INTERPOL agent (Johnson) who is tasked with catching the world’s most infamous thief (Gadot). Somehow, Reynolds, as an experienced con-man, fits into the mix.

The film is expected to release in 2021.
