Stranger Things 5: The Power of Eleven! Witness Her Most Intense Training Yet as She Prepares to Face Vecna

Stranger Things 5: Eleven's Epic Training Montage Will Have You on the Edge of Your Seat

Netflix released a new tease from Stranger Things Season 5 on Friday, offering a first look at Eleven’s ramped-up training ahead of the final battle for Hawkins. In the clip, Millie Bobby Brown’s character runs herself through a grueling series of physical obstacles-leaping over treetops, sprinting up steep hills, scaling ladders and tumbling across the forest floor-completing the course in 12 minutes and 33 seconds, a personal best.

Still, Eleven looks frustrated, well aware she is still far from the strength and precision she will need when she finally squares off with Vecna again.

The minute-long teaser also shows her honing her telekinetic abilities. Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers monitor her progression, often with concern but offering words of encouragement as they gear up toward what may be their most dangerous confrontation with the Upside Down.

Since it first premiered in 2016-‘beginning with the mysterious disappearance of Will Byers (Noah Schnapp)-the series has followed a widening battle between Hawkins residents and the monstrous entities invading from an alternate dimension. At the end of Season 4, Eleven could only force Vecna into retreat; far from eliminating the threat.

Season 5 will follow Hawkins’ last battle against those forces from other dimensions. Other returning cast includes Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, and Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair.

The final chapter is an eight-part creation by creators Matt and Ross Duffer; the titles are The Crawl, The Vanishing of…, The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, Shock Jock, Escape from Camazotz, The Bridge, and The Rightside Up. Netflix will drop the first four episodes on November 26, Episodes 5 through 7 on Christmas Day, and the series finale on December 31.
