Story
The story of Saare Jahan Se Achcha is set in the 70s, when an Indian agent Vishnu Shankar i.e. Pratik Gandhi is sent to Pakistan. Pakistan is building a nuclear reactor and if this happens, it will be a threat to India. Vishnu Shankar gets a mission to infiltrate Pakistan and sabotage its secret nuclear program. He comes face to face with ISI agent Murtaza Malik, and during this confrontation, a war of tricks and psychology takes place between the two.Now how he will foil Pakistan’s plans is the story of this series. At the beginning of the story of the series, an attempt has been made to show why the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto wanted to make an atom bomb in Pakistan.
Writing and Direction
Saare Jahaan Se Achcha is written by Abhijeet Khuman, Kunal Kushwah, Bhavesh Mandilya, Ishraq Shah, Shivam Shankar, Gaurav Shukla and Meghna Srivastava and I feel that the story is a bit faltering in the middle. The edge of the series which is seen in the beginning starts to slow down in the middle. If the writing in the last few episodes had been better or tighter, the enjoyment of the series could have increased. The director of this series is Sumit Purohit and he has given good direction. The director has kept a good eye on cinematography, editing, background music and performances.
Acting
Prateik Gandhi, who has already proved his mettle in acting, has given life to the role of raw agent Vishnu Shankar in Saare Jahan Se Achcha. Pratik has been playing every character in his own way in the past and this time too he has done the same. Looking at Prateek, it seems that we are watching Vishnu Shankar. Sunny Hinduja has done a wonderful job in the role of Pakistan’s ISI agent Murtaza Malik. At many places in the series, you hate him and this is the victory of that actor. She has captured the Pakistani accent brilliantly, Kritika Kamra has played a Pakistani journalist and her work is also superb. Tillotama Shaw has played the role of Vishnu Shankar’s wife well. She has shown well what the wife of an agent feels. Anup Soni has also done a great job in this series. Suhail Nayyar’s work is amazing. All the other actors have also played their roles well.

Overall
Saare Jahaan Se Achcha is not a very amazing series but it is not boring. The first 3 episodes are especially good. In the middle, the screenplay of the film strays a bit but in the end, the series ends on a good note. This is a series that salutes those heroes of our country who are secret agents and remain secret. We can say that this story is not just about espionage but also shows the emotional challenges of spies who stay away from their families to protect the country and the end of the series shows that the intelligence war never ends. —When one mission ends, another one awaits.
