Selena Gomez takes ukulele, bikini to Australia

0

Singer-actress Selena Gomez packed ukulele apart from her travel fashion A-game for her trip to Australia.

The 25-year-old singer was spotted arriving at Sydney Airport on Monday. Even after her long flight, Gomez looked chic. She wore white sweatpants, a white shirt and a jean jacket, reports eonline.com.

She also accessorised her look with a cap and sunglasses, as well as a pair silver hoop earrings and white sneakers.

The singer also brought a black ukulele.

The "It ain't me" hitmaker was also spotted hanging out on a yacht with a few friends. She looked relaxed lounging in the sun with her book. She also cooled off with a quick dip in the Sydney Harbour.

Gomez wore a bright orange bikini top and black bikini bottoms.

It's possible that Gomez flew to Sydney for the Hillsong Colour Conference. Gomez attended the Hillsong Conference 2017 in Los Angeles with singer Justin Bieber in November.

However, he wasn't spotted with Gomez — fueling rumours that the two are giving each other some space.

The two rekindled their romance in November and spent a lot of quality time together.

However, the two have been spending more time apart. For instance, Bieber attended the March 15 premiere of MIDNIGHT SUN without Gomez, and Gomez missed out on Bieber's 24th birthday celebration earlier this month.

Actress Margot Robbie has revealed that she has worn two dental retainers since she was 14 years old.

During an interview on Monday, Robbie talked about wearing a dental retainer and her latest film PETER RABBIT, reports dailymail.co.uk.

She voices Flopsy — a character who has a speech impediment — in the animated feature.

"I was saying earlier that when I wear my retainer at night it kind of gives me a bit of a lisp. I'm such a dork," Robbie said.

Then she was asked why she wears a retainer. The actress revealed that she had worn two retainers since she was 14 years old.

"This is so embarrassing, I actually have two retainers, one for my bottom teeth which is for grinding my teeth and one for my top teeth which is just so my teeth don't move," she explained.

"The orthodontist, when I got my braces off when I was 14, said: 'You'll only need to wear it for two years but I am so paranoid that, 10 years later, I'm still wearing them."

Actress Cynthia Nixon enters race for New York governor

Best known for her role as Miranda in the hit TV series SEX AND THE CITY, actress and activist Cynthia Nixon has officially entered the race for the governor of New York, challenging incumbent Andrew M. Cuomo who is seeking his third term, the media reported.

"I love New York, and today I'm announcing my candidacy for governor," the 51-year-old tweeted on Monday, along with a video.

"I've never lived anywhere else… But something has to change. We want our government to work again, on health care, ending mass incarceration, fixing our broken subway. We are sick of politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us. It can't just be business as usual anymore."

Nixon will challenge Cuomo in the state's Democratic primary in September, reports CNN.

Nixon is forming a team of alumni of the New York political sphere, including Rebecca Katz and Bill Hyers — who worked on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's first campaign — to help her ahead of the primary.

Katz will work on the campaign as a senior strategist. Nicole Aro, who recently worked as the American Federation of Labour and Congress of Industrial Organizations' director or digital strategies, will serve as campaign manager.

The Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award-winner was among the star-studded cast of actors, entertainers and activists who came together for "the People's State of the Union" in January, an alternative event to President Donald Trump's first State of the Union speech.

"Our democracy is under attack, and we Americans need to cherish and to fight for it," Nixon had said.

The mother of three, who is married to activist Christine Marinoni, has also been vocal about education issues, and she served on de Blasio's advisory board for the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, reports CNN.

She was recently honoured by the Human Rights Campaign with its Visibility Award for her work advocating for marriage equality and fighting stigma and prejudice.

Nixon's campaign said in a statement that she will spend the coming weeks travelling across the state to hear from voters.

Titled NANHE EINSTEINS, Suniel Shetty will play the lead in the film to be written by NEERJA fame Saiwyn Quadras. Made under the banner of Aurous Avatar Entertainment, NANHE EINSTEINS is a children-based movie that highlights the issue of education in our society.

Rohit K Shetty, Director, Aurous Avatar Entertainment, said, “We are thrilled to announce seasoned actor Suniel Shetty as the protagonist of our movie NANHE EINSTEINS. Since the conception of the story we had only Suniel Shetty in mind to play the role of Principal Anthony. We know he will do full justice to the role. We are excited to partner with such an amazing and talented actor like Mr. Shetty. With this movie we hope to address a pertinent issue in our society and education system where importance is only given to grades which is conceived as a valid measure to success.”

Talking about his role, Actor Suniel Shetty said, “The character is that of an orphan boy, who is adopted. He goes on to become the principal of a high-end school. The movie basically says that if given an opportunity, everyone can make it. The education system is only about ‘X’ grades and the kind of students in school, but where do the rest go? But again, it’s not a preachy film. It talks about education, class differences, but in a very fun manner.”

Incorporated in 2014, Aurous Avatar Entertainment founded by Rohit K Shetty and co-founded by Priiya Nair. After courting success through Gujarati and Marathi films, Aurous Avatar is now venturing into Bollywood with this movie.

After a fascinating OCTOBER trailer, here comes a heart-touching theme song!

0

It’s a usual trend that we have been witnessing that after the launch of the first trailer makers head to launch their songs in a single format subsequently. So after unveiling upcoming film OCTOBER trailer it was quite expected that the makers would come with the first song and of course we were also waiting with bated breath. However, OCTOBER makers instead released a theme song on public demand after receiving huge response for the trailer.

It is said that many of the fans reached out to the makers and especially Varun Dhawan, who plays the lead character Dan in the film, appreciating the background score and asking for the end melody to be released. And today the theme song was unleashed.

The theme song of OCTOBER is soothing, poignant and depicts the essence of the film which is a story about love and not a love story. It takes through all the ups and downs that goes on in the lives of lead pair Dan and Shiuli, played by Varun Dhawan and newbie Banita Sandhu respectively..

Varun and Banita play hotel management trainees at a plush five star hotel. The girl whom he follows into the ICU of a hospital barely acknowledges him at their workplace. Yet he clings to the idea of love.

OCTOBER seems to be a beautiful story of love wrapped in subtle, sweet, and heart-touching emotions. With that we can’t wait for the movie that releases on 13 April, 2018.

The theme song is a behind the scenes video, which appears like making of OCTOBER. The BTS theme song video features Shantanu Moira, Shoojit Sircar and George working on the tune of the song by playing various instruments. There are few visuals from the film as well, but the theme snatches your attention and pulls your heart-strings.

Co-produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, OCTOBER is directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film celebrates love, nature and the autumn season.
