Khloe Kardashian: Had to reprogramme my attitude to food

0

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian says she reprogrammed herself to think differently about food to win her battle with her weight.

Khloe spoke about it on TV show Revenge Body, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I love food, I’m a huge foodie. But everything in moderation for me. It is re-programming your mind. But once you get there and once you re-programme it, you start feeling good and your skin is great and your
hair is growing,” Khloe said.

She had earlier said she has been giving into cravings and eating more while she is expecting. But she has continued to workout and “can’t wait” to get her pre-pregnancy body back.

“During my pregnancy, I’m obviously not beating myself up about what I’m eating at all. I’m more encouraged by how, after the baby comes, I’m going to work off every pound. I’m actually really excited to get
my body back. I can’t wait!

“Of course, I can’t go as hard as I did before, and I really do miss my intense workouts. Honestly, though, I’m just happy I still have the energy!”

Diljit Dosanjh: New artistes feel safe working with big stars

0

Actor Diljit Dosanjh, who will be seen with filmmaker Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha, Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh, among many others, in WELCOME TO NEW YORK, says he never felt he would be overshadowed.

Being a part of an ensemble cast movie can make some artistes insecure.

Asked if he felt overshadowed working in WELCOME TO NEW YORK, Diljit told IANS over phone from Mumbai: "No. When you are working with big stars, the new artiste feels really safe… I didn't feel overshadowed. I am new in the industry. How can someone overshadow me?

"There's nothing of that sorts right now. Maybe tomorrow, when I become something (big), maybe I would think like that."

He also said it was a learning experience to work with well-established names on the project, directed by Chakri Toleti.

WELCOME TO NEW YORK is a comedy film, where Diljit will be seen playing a struggling artiste who dreams of becoming an actor.

In real life, Diljit has made a name for himself in the Punjabi film industry and forayed into the Hindi movie space with "Udta Punjab". He is also a successful singer.

In Punjabi, Diljit has mostly starred in romantic comedy films. Does he want to continue being a part of the same genre?

"I have never thought that this is a romantic comedy film or a serious film… Sometimes you like a script, and then that role and what that character is trying to say… If I like that, then I do it. It is not based on what genre the film is.

"I would like to do films in all types of genres."

After "Udta Punjab", Diljit's second Bollywood film was PHILLAURI and now he will be seen in SOORMA. He says his two-year career in Bollywood has been very good.

"I think I don't deserve certain things, and I don't have that much expectations… I would like to thank those with whom I have worked and (I am) working with. I don't think that I have that much of capability, but I am getting work and I am doing it," he added.

His next film SOORMA — which will release after WELCOME TO NEW YORK hits the screens on February 23 — is based on hockey player Sandeep Singh. Diljit says starring in a biopic is a huge responsibility.

"Every actor wants to do a biopic and I am lucky that in my second year I got an offer to do one. I have tried giving my 100 per cent. As an actor, I have given as much as I could," he added.

Rannvijay Singha: My daughter brings out the best in me

Be it his professional calls or the way he leads his personal life — fatherhood has made Rannvijay Singha more responsible. The actor says his daughter Kainaat brings out the best in him, and he actually gets surprised with it all.

Rannvijay and his wife Prianka Vohra welcomed their daughter Kainaat in January last year.

"It is almost like a new life, but one that you're living for someone else. I think fatherhood teaches you a lot of things which you never thought you will be able to experience.

"My daughter brings out the best in me and sometimes it actually surprises me to see this new version of myself," Rannvijay told IANS over an email.

"My daughter Kainaat has made me more responsible in a way. Every day, after finishing my work, I actually look forward to going home and spending time with her. I try taking up projects that will make her proud of me and also give me more time with her," he added.

After gaining popularity with his stint in 'MTV Roadies', Rannvijay has worked on the small as well as big screen. He has featured in films like MOD, SHARAFAT GAYI TEL LENE, LONDON DREAMS and ACTION REPLAYY.

On the small screen, he is popular for shows like 'MTV Roadies', 'Splitsvilla' and 'Troll Police'.

How does he balance his personal and professional life?

"There are times when I am out for shoots for days but then it is a part of my job that I love. I am very fortunate that my family understands this and always supports me.

"Having said that, at times it does take a toll when I haven't seen my family for days, especially my daughter," said the actor, who has been chosen as the face of the seven km Power Walk — a new category by Max Bupa Health Insurance.

Rannvijay, a fitness enthusiast, says his "fitness goal each year is to go one level up".

"The only tip I would like to give everyone is to have a long-term routine. Fitness doesn't mean spurts of heavy weight work outs and then exile for some time.

"Whatever one's routine, it needs to be practical and sustainable. There should be no complacency. And even on cheat days, even if one doesn't feel like going to gym, they can just walk," the actor said.

Ishtiyak Khan: Was expected to do roles like Rajpal Yadav

0

Actor Ishtiyak Khan says he was compared with actor Rajpal Yadav due to his short height when he entered showbiz.

The actor has featured in films like FUKREY RETURNS, TAMASHAM and ANARKALI OF ARAH. He is currently seen as Putan in Star Plus show 'Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai'.

"I had to struggle a lot in the initial years since I hailed from a small town in Madhya Pradesh. Not only that… because I am short, people always compared me to actor Rajpal Yadav," Ishtiyak said.

"I was expected to do roles like him since he had already made his mark in the industry. But I wanted to be different and leave my own legacy for the world to see," he added.

Ishtiyak believes that through the show he can showcase his versatility and set a benchmark for himself.

Pranay Pachauri’s best wrap-up party

0

Actor Pranay Pachauri says he had the best wrap-up party ever with his 'Tere Liye Bro' co-stars.

Tere Liye Bro is based on true friendship and bromance. It features Prabal Punjabi, Nikhil Khurana and Malhar Rathod.

"Our vanity van could accommodate only two people, but the entire team barged into the van. We put on some good music, switched off the lights and used our phone flash lights to set the mood for a party," Pranay said in a statement.

"We had a great time by converting our vanity van into probably the smallest club on wheels in the world. But after working so hard it was an amazing stress-buster. I like to call it our small 'Vanity Affair'. It was the smallest and the best party I ever had."

The last episode of the show was aired on Friday across bindass' linear and digital platforms.
