Ranveer Singh: GULLY BOY is very dear to me

0

Ranveer Singh is on career high as his latest release PADMAAVAT entered the 200 crore club and his role as the antagonist Alauddin Khilji has been widely appreciated and you just can’t take your eyes off Khilji.

As Ranveer Singh has now began shooting for his next GULLY BOY, we asked him after the emotionally draining journey of playing Alauddin Khilji how difficult was it for him to start rolling for GULLY BOY and he replied, “If you are excited about your work, it's not difficult at all. The day I finished shooting PADMAAVAT, immediately my first thought was like GULLY BOY because that's a film which is very dear to me. I strongly feel for these people on which the characters are based on. They are marginalized people from the lowest strata of the society who have a very tough existence. It's a very difficult life and they find their expression as artists. They have started a music scene that's so unique. It's in Bambaiyya language which is the most incredible thing.

the actor further added, "You have to read sometimes what these kids are writing. These kids in their 19 and early 20s write social commentary about how messed up our system is and they make such strong observations and comments on the state of affairs and what I believe will affect social change because there are thousands of kids now who are listening to their music and learning to understanding that. So, I strongly feel for them and I want to do what I can do to give a platform to these amazing musical talents. GULLY BOY is a story which I really want to tell along with Zoya. You will be quite amazed to hear the music of this film.”

Kudos to Ranveer Singh! We simply can’t wait for him to enthrall us in GULLY BOY. Watch this space for more.

Sidharth Malhotra’s AIYAARY pushed, PAD MAN to get a solo release?

0

Fate of Neeraj Pandey’s crime thriller AIYAARY is hanging. Earlier the makers of the film pushed the initial release date from January 26 to February 9 as two big films i.e. PADMAAVAT and PAD MAN were also releasing on the same day- 25 January.

Later makers of PAD MAN decided to give a clear window to PADMAAVAT and pushed their film from January 25 to February 9. Hence again AIYAARY was bound to clash with PAD MAN.

Now as per industry sources Sidharth’s AIYAARY has been pushed to Feb 16. Now the film will clash with DIL JUNGLEE and Akshay Kumar’s PAD MAN will get a solo release.

It seems like Sidharth Malhotra’s and AIYAARY’s fate doesn’t seem to be in their favor right now! However with no official confirmation made by the makers yet about the new release date all we can do is wait and watch.

Till then stay tuned

Singer Rita Ora says she went through a rollercoaster of emotions due to the legal battle with her former label Roc Nation.

It's been years since the release of Ora's 2012 debut album "Ora". While the singer has kept herself in the public eye through roles on "The X Factor", "The Voice UK", "America's Next Top Model", and the "Fifty Shades of Grey series", it's only been in the past six months that fans have started getting new singles.

"I had a bit of an issue, publicly, with putting out music which got me really, really, kind of devastated, and I was really down, and then I was really angry, and then I was really frustrated, and then I was really happy that it was happening," billboard.com quoted Ora as saying.

The "Anywhere" hitmaker added: "It was all these emotions, so my album is definitely a rollercoaster of emotions … I'm still crazy, like, I still love to go out and party. Everyone who knows me knows that I love to have a good time, but I wanted this album to also be (something) you could put on and vibe with your friends. There's a lot of ups and downs, but I'm very, very proud of it."

She also said that she is excited for what 2018 will bring for her with her music.

Charlie Puth says romance with Gomez messed him up

Singer Charlie Puth has claimed that dating singer-actress Selena Gomez really messed him up.

The 26-year-old singer worked with Gomez on the hit track "We don't talk anymore" back in 2016.

In an interview with Billboard magazine, Puth admitted it was hard to date her because she had someone else on her mind, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Puth said: "It's about a particular moment in my life, when someone very close to me wanted the attention of somebody else. When I found that out and we ended it, I might have done some shady things too, and she might have asked me, 'How long has this been going on?'

"I don't kiss and tell, but the only way a song like that can come across as real is if there's something else going on behind the scenes. And that's what was happening.

"Very short-lived, very small, but very impactful. And it really messed me up. I'm trying to put this the best way possible: It wasn't like I was the only person on her mind. And I think I knew that going in — what I was getting myself into."

Puth continued: "And she evoked such good emotion on that song, it was a pleasure working with her. That's why I'm always happy to sing it, even though it came from a dark point in my life."

Peter Andre aspired to act in forties

0

Singer Peter Andre always wanted to launch a Hollywood career in his forties.

"I leave in March to start filming two movies in LA. I can't tell you any more, which is a bit of a nightmare, but I'm so excited. I always said I wanted to go into movies in my forties – it was always my dream. So whatever happens, I'm filming in LA – as if I could ask for anything more," Andre told Heat magazine.

The star, 44, has not been honing his craft in advance but he's confident in his abilities because he always did well in drama class at school, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Asked if he's been honing his skills, he said: "Not really. I've done read-throughs, but I'm going to speak to people because I want to be really good. The thing is, I grew up acting at school and I was one of the highest achievers, I got an A+.

"Funnily enough, I failed at music, I was terrible at it at school. Then again, I always remind myself that Elvis, the King of Rock n' Roll, also failed music – he got an F, so I'm in good company there."

Andre is looking up to some big names in Hollywood for inspiration.

"I love Robert de Niro and Al Pacino, I grew up on those guys' gangster movies.

But I also love really stupid slapstick comedies with Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell – I'd love to do that. One of the films I'm working on is actually a comedy," he said. BDAR, asmens duomen? apsauga novusnexus.lt
