Arpita (Kishwer)’s role will have different shades and will play a crucial role in Diya (Tejasswi Prakash) and Abhay’s wedding. Like a typical sister-in-law, that she is, Arpita will not be too fond of Diya and will go to any length to show her down. Her sole purpose will be to create confusion and hurdles for the couple. Diya is known to not give up that easily and will take things head-on, a whole lot of drama will unfold between the two. On being asked about what made her take up this role, Kishwer said, “When the producers first approached me with this role, I was quite nervous but when I realized that the offer was for real, I eventually came around as I found this role be exciting and challenging. Initially, Suyyash was apprehensive but I managed to convince him, after all, it is just a character that I am portraying. But the best part is that both of us will get to work and spend time together. The role surely is different from whatever characters I have played in the past. For the first time, I will play my husband’s on-screen sister, which in a way will be a refreshing change, and I have been teasing him a lot by calling him a bro! With my entry in the show, the audience can be assured of several twists and turns on the anvil.”

Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan dead

The Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan has died at the age of 46.

The Irish musician, who was originally from Limerick, led the band to international success in the 1990s with singles including 'Linger' and 'Zombie', died suddenly, her publicist has confirmed, BBC reported on Monday.

A statement from her publicist said: "The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time."

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the police were called to a hotel in Park Lane, where a woman in her mid-40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is, at this stage, unexplained.

Her current band mates in The Cranberries – Noel Hogan, Fergal Lawler, and Mike Hogan — paid tribute to the lead singer on social media.

The message said: "She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to been part of her life from 1989."

Her publicist added: "Family members are devastated to hear the news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time."

The Cranberries shot to international fame with their 1993 debut album 'Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?' and went on to sell over 40 million records worldwide.

In 2017 The Cranberries announced a tour including dates in Europe, Britain, and the US. However, in May, shortly into the European tour, the group had to cancel the remainder of the European dates as a result of O'Riordan's health issues.

The official Cranberries website cited medical reasons associated with a back problem preventing singer O'Riordan from performing.

But just before Christmas O'Riordan had posted on Facebook saying she was feeling good and had done her 'first bit of gigging in months', leading fans to believe she would soon be performing again.

Dita Von Teese ready to embrace grey hair

0

Model Dita Von Teese plans to embrace her grey hair when the time comes.

During an interview for the Daily Telegraph newspaper, she was asked if she can see a day when she will embrace the grey, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She said: "Oh definitely. Every two weeks, when I pull out that box of black dye, I'm like, 'God, wouldn't it be great to not be doing this?' But be careful what you wish for, right?"

Her burlesque shows are still hugely popular. But Von Teese said she considered retiring two years ago before realising she wants to be an "example" for older women.

"I had a lot of pressure from my former producing partner. Every night I'd come offstage and she'd be like, 'Oh, you didn't look so good right there… Can we cover up this? You need to really suck it in.

I was thinking, 'Oh God, maybe I should quit before people start seeing all the flaws that could arise from the ageing process. It was starting to get to me.

"(But) it occurred to me that there are all these women who are older that I admire, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Madonna, and they are all out there still. It has meaning for me to watch them go through different phases of life and still embrace their sexuality and sensuality. I need to be an example as well. I love performing burlesque, people still want to see me do it."
