Reality TV personality Kris Jenner was ecstatically surprised when her daughter and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian told her she was pregnant because she didn't think she would ever have kids.

Khloe announced the news on the latest 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' episode, reports femalefirst.co.uk

After that, Kris said: "Hearing this news is the most special thing I think anyone can ever tell me. I'm ecstatically surprised.

"I always thought that maybe Khloe would be one of those women who didn't have kids and I struggled with that. It made me really sad because there was no one that was born to do this more than Khloe."

Khloe's sister Kourtney told her she thought her sibling had put on a few pounds, and after Khloe and her beau Tristan Thompson had told the family, Kourtney joked: "No wonder you gained a few pounds."

With uncertainty towards release of PADMAAVAT a week back, the entire film industry got entangled in playing musical chairs with the release date of their respective films. The makers of VEERE DI WEDDING too must have felt left out and in order to have a clear window for their film’s release even they pushed the release date of their film.

So Kareena Kapoor’s comeback film post her pregnancy which was supposed to release earlier on May 18, has now been pushed to June 1. Just a week back the makers of the film had announced the revised release date and today they unveiled another poster of the film.

In the new poster we can see all the four gal pal decked up in cool ethnic wears as they gear up for the wedding of the season. In the new poster Sonam seems to be feeling panicked while diva Kareena Kapoor is looking cool as cucumber. Shikha is playful with her jhooti and Swara is giving final touches to her make-up and accessories.

The state of these four girls in the new poster shows how chaotic yet fun weddings actually are.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, VEERE DI WEDDING is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi. Apart from Kareena and Sonam Kapoor the film also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.

The first of its kind mega film festival in Mizoram is being jointly organized by the Government of Mizoram and Innovations India under the patronage of the ambitious Swachh Bharat Abhigyan. The festival will open with Amitabh Bachchan starrer SARKAR 3 and shall showcase 5 path breaking films in different Indian Languages curated by Captain Rahul Bali who has been successfully organizing Indian Film Festivals Worldwide.

The Indian Film Festival Mizoram shall be inaugurated by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla on 23rd January at the Vanapa Hall in Aizawl and shall be attended by dignitaries & Luminaries from across India and the world. Rahul Mittra, who shall be the Chief Guest at the festival appreciated this initiative by the Govt. of Mizoram and said,"I am looking forward visiting Mizoram and am sure the festival will offer a great platform to filmmakers to explore the rich natural resources of the state, apart from interacting with local filmmakers & talent.”

ODDBALL Motion Pictures, the producers of the much awaited Emraan Hashmi starrer Captain Nawab, has announced their association with Chanda Group worth 250 crores for exclusively developing feature films and original digital video content.

The film production company founded by filmmaker Nitin Upadhyaya has been powered by a seed capital of Rs 250 Crores to develop feature films, long form and short form content across genres, and over time, a platform of their own. The production company last year released BEHEN HOGI TERI starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Hasan.

Actress Soni Singh, who entered 'Naamkarann' as a positive character, will now essay a role with grey shades.

"I entered 'Naamkarann' as a funny character named Sunehri. She is an adorable person who loves herself a lot and enjoys dancing and relating herself to Bollywood heroines. She was a completely positive character, but now I'll be seen in a role with grey shades," Soni said in statement.

'Naamkarann is aired on Star Plus.

In another show of strength, the Shri Rajput Karni Sena on Tuesday took out a massive rally in Dholpur in Rajasthan to demand a countrywide ban on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's PADMAAVAT, which is scheduled for release on January 25. They have threatened mass immolation if the film is not banned.

The rally was led by Rajput Karni Sena patron, Lokendra Singh Kalvi. Thousands of women were seen walking in the protest rally.

The protesters met the district collector and requested him to convey their message to the central government for banning the film across India.

Dholpur was chosen as the location for the rally as it is situated on the Uttar Pradesh border. "We want the Yogi Adityanath government in UP to ban the film, as the Haryana government has already declared a ban in the state today," a senior member of Karni Sena told IANS.

"Earlier, we had met Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar requesting him to ban the movie, and he had assured us the movie would be banned once they check its legal aspects."

"We want Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the issue and ban the movie across India. We met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on January 14 and apprised him of the challenges the country will face once the film is released," he said.

"Why the central government is keeping mum on this issue is beyond our understanding," he added.

According to the Karni Sena member, 1,700 women have registered their names, addresses and consent letters from their families with the Jauhar Samiti in Chittorgarh.

"If the film's screening is not stopped, they will perform jauhar (mass immolation). The men will go to cinema halls with swords to stop its screening," he added.

All highways surrounding Chittorgarh will also be blocked on Wednesday as a mark of protest.

He warned that in case the film is released on January 25, "Republic Day celebrations will turn into a dark day as there will be all chances of a war like situation in the country".

"We are also planning a big protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from January 22 where thousands of Rajputs from across the country will be gathering to stage a massive protest," he said.

Asked if Karni Sena members are supporting Congress in the Ajmer and Alwar bypoll, he said that "looking at the silence of the central government and to protest against the injustice meted out to members of Shri Karni Sena who were demanding a CBI probe into the Anandpal issue, the Karni Sena members have vowed to ensure BJP loses the ensuing by-polls".
