The trailer of Kushan Nandy’s action thriller BABUMOSHAI BANDOOKBAAZ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag has already set the audience expecting from Nawaz a repeat of his GANGS OF WASSEYPUR act, since his character in the new film somewhat resembles Faizal Khan from GOW.

The first song ‘Barfani’ from BABUMOSHAI BANDOOKBAAZ is out and it showcases the love life of Babumoshai, a sharp shooter who outsources for Yamraj!

Composed by Gaurav Dagaonkar, ‘Barfani’ is crooned by Armaan Malik and we must say that the singer totally impresses us with his smooth vocals and singing talent. The lyrics penned by Ghalib Asad Bhopali are very poignant and beautiful as they depict the passion of lovers.

In the video we see Nawaz trying his best to woo heroine Bidita and eventually he does succeed in winning her heart. There’s lot of steamy scenes between these two in the song which shows the passion between them in the film’s storyline.

Current Indian film industry scenario where films are made every quarter, released and forgotten we don't really expect from the audiences that if the film story has a history they should know about it or we don't have hopes that the audiences would create an emotion from the film.

However, before even Tigmanshu Dhulia's RAAG DESH went on floors he got an amazing response to a dipstick he had put through people about the story base of RAAG DESH i.e. Indian National Army.

Tigmanshu's team went out amongst people and asked if they were aware of what happened during INA trials of Red Fort, to his surprise a bunch of people came out and spoke about it.

They were then asked to come out for a placard campaign and write out whatever they knew.

A bunch of people spoke of the facts that Tigmanshu himself have gotten after a good research, this was a sheer moral boost for him and gave him a good kick-start for the project.

The film is releasing on 28th July 2017.

Short films are the new in thing as more and more filmmakers are taking up the challenge of telling their story in flat 15-20 minutes. Jumping into the bandwagon of actors trying their hands in short films are now Nawaz, Jackky and Prachi Desai as they will be next seen in short film CARBON.

CARBON is a futuristic film set in 2067 which also stars Yashpal Sharma. Keeping in mind the current situation of Global warming, the film takes a look at what the future could look like if there's no action taken today. Will these 4 characters escape from Carbon? For that you will have to wait till film’s release.

CARBON is written & directed by Maitrey Bajpai and Ramiz Ilham Khan. Produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Gautam Gupta, the short film will be released on Large Short Films' YouTube channel.

SEZAL SHARMA

Sezal Sharma who was last seen in Bollywood movie 31st OCTOBER opposite Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan has now been signed by actor Chandan Prabhakar for his directorial debut in Punjabi. It is still an untitled project. The film is a comedy-love story where Sezal plays the role of an Indo-Canadian girl and the plot revolves largely around her. The film is produced by Yadu Production.
 
Sezal Sharma said, “I’ve known Chandan for a while but everyone who knows Chandan will agree that in work related matters, he is quite a perfectionist. Though I was on his mind for this role, I had to give four auditions post which I got selected. I begin shooting for this film in August.”
 
Other than this Sezal has two releases coming up this year, one of which is GPL, which got showcased in Cannes last year and is due to release in October.

Dharma productions’ upcoming film DRIVE has a striking cast of Jacqueline Fernandez and Sushant Singh Rajput.

While he is busy with CHANDA MAMA DOOR KE where he is playing an astronaut, post which he will be seen in Karan Johar’s DRIVE.

Karan shared the news on his social media official handle.

Just after being up in space, he will be down on earth and driving through the streets!

Cars happen to be Sushant’s passion while he always dreamt of being an astronaut.

The movie will release on March 2, 2018 during Holi.

There is a lot of buzz regarding his role in the film as he plays an astronaut; in fact he is seen preparing for his role.

Sushant is in USA for space camp for the reasons and the official team of Space camp USA posted the actors n social media, indeed it’s a great honour to be associated with them, while Sushant at his humble best replied to them.

Sushant has previously nailed his act in MS DHONI and now he is leaving no stone unturned for his next.

Akshay Kumar attended the Women’s Cricket World Cup final at Lord’s cricket ground, London, on July 23. Although our women in blue couldn’t lift the cup, they won everyone’s heart back home in India.

This gave Akshay an idea on how about Indian men and women cricketers coming together to form one team

“Like there are mixed doubles in tennis, why can’t there be a men and women cricket match against another country? Why can’t they have mixed cricket teams where six Indian men and six Indian women play against Australia’s six men and six women? If this kind of a setup happens, it will be the biggest set-up ever,” says Akshay, who was struck by the idea while watching a Wimbledon match on his phone.

However, this isn’t the first time Akshay Kumar has shown keen interest in sports and women encouragement. He has always urged for women’s martial arts!

Child abuse is one of the worst problems of the country and is very often brushed under the carpet. Taking a first step towards helping such victims Vidya Balan has joined hands with Rahul Bose’s NGO HEAL [Help Eradicate Abuse through Learning] to fight child sexual abuse.

The talented actress believes that it is time to speak up against the social malaise and fight it head on.

Vidya has played a survivor of child abuse in her film KAHAANI 2: DURGA RANI SINGH

The actress shared, "The abuse is often so traumatic that it paralyses people. No one wants to talk about it… It leaves you hopeless.”

The actress is aware of how the victims of child abuse are often scarred by the episode, but is hopeful that this initiative will help in creating a dialogue between parents and teachers, and the child to address the subject of sexual abuse. It also aims to help deal with any situation of abuse faced by children.

She further says about her association with Rahul Bose and shares," After KAHAANI 2 released, many people reached out to me to share their personal experiences of the trauma. What was shocking though was that many people I thought I knew well were also victims of it. We tend to believe that child sexual abuse doesn’t happen to people we know. That’s when I realised how wrong my perception was. So, when Rahul told me about his initiative to fight this stigma in our society, I immediately decided to be a part of it.”
