After releasing the teaser of their fourth song 'Butterfly' today morning, the makers of JAB HARRY MET SEJAL have released the song on the same day.

Now we are wondering what was the logic behind releasing both the promotional material on the same day! We mean what purpose does that serves?

Anyways 'Butterfly' is a typical Punjabi number a la 'Nagada' style from the director's hit film JAB WE MET.

We see Shah Rukh sporting a pagdi (turban) in the song which is something we have never seen him in before, while Anushka who is playing a Gujju girl in the film is seen in a typical Punjabi kudi avatar in this song.

Crooned by Aman Trikha, Nooran Sisters, Sunidhi Chauhan and Dev Negi the song is written by Irshad Kamil and composed by Pritam.

The video of this song reminds you of JAB WE MET and LOVE AAJ KAL film in bits and parts. Now we just hope that the entire film doesn't end up reminding the audience of Imtiaz's previous films in bits and part.

When it comes to film promotions or grabbing the eye balls of the audience, filmmakers & actors can go to any extent. They will leave no stones unturned to make the right noise for their film. While some go on promotion spree, some others opt for exaggerated marketing and have larger-than-life presence. And there are some who adopt for contextual advertisement to hit the right note.

Well, we are talking about Akshay Kumar starrer TOILET – EK PREM KATHA, which has been in news already for its unusual content and name.  Now the makers & the innovative brains behind the marketing of the film have quite interestingly made use of point blank contextual advertising to publicize. Since the film has PM Narendra Modi's Swacch Bharat Abhiyan campaign as its underlining subject and highlights the importance of the pay-and-use toilet scheme and curbing the social evil of defecating in the open, the makers have placed the posters of the film outside public toilets. Thereby giving out the message clear & wide along with the film promotion.

Well, after witnessing this stint, we won’t be surprised if the protagonists of the film – Akshay Kumar & Bhumi Pednekar use the public toilets for marketing & promotions to make it appear more real!

Now this one is pretty interesting fact which will leave you awestruck!

When the new mommy of B-town Kareena Kapoor Khan named her little bundle of joy as Taimur Ali Khan, there was a lot of hue and cry over it. There was a huge social media outrage over Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son’s unique name. More than being good news for the couple, Taimur’s name attracted controversy and sparked a row on social media.

However, mom Kareena found the entire controversy and frenzy over the name a bit bizarre. She also said in one of the interviews that the name had 'no resemblance to any person living or dead. Kareena even revealed that they fell in love with the name Taimur, which means Iron.

While she probably didn’t take inspiration from any of the real life personalities, but it looks like Kareena might have taken the idea of the name ‘Taimur’ from her film TALAASH – The Answer Lies Within. Puzzled how? Well, as we came across Nawazuddin’s character in the film (who had a brief yet impactful appearance in the film), we realised the uncanny resemblance between his character name and Kareena Kapoor’s son’s name. In the film Nawaz’s character was named as ‘Tehmur’, which sounds exactly like Kareena Kapoor Khan’s little munchkin Taimur’s name. Wonder if Kareena was so impressed with Nawaz’s character that she named Saif’s son as Taimur! 

Now whether Kareena took the idea from her film or it was a mere coincidence is something only she can answer. Nevertheless, we are loving this interesting coincidence!

In a first of its sorts International Indian Film Awards (IIFA has now ventured to make a new film based on the IIFA, a fictional story based on the awards. The movie is said to be produced by Vashu Bhagnani.

ADITYA ROY KAPUR and KARTIK ARYAN

Previously reports of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh being roped in for this film were doing the rounds but now it’s being said that Kartik Aaryan will be replacing Aditya in the film.

The film is said to be centered around the IIFA award show and is a full length feature film which is going to be released in theaters and will be shot in New York immediately after IIFA 2017 for the next 25 days.

Reportedly lot of big celebrities will do guest appearance in this film.

Richa Chadha and Angad Bedi ae together for the first time in Amazon Prime’s show Inside Edge, wherein Angad plays a cricketer and Richa Chadha a team owner and a top notch Bollywood actress.

In an exclusive video interview with Richa and Angad, they spoke about how they got to know each other while working on the show.

Interestingly what we witnessed between them was a sizzling and striking chemistry between the two! They looked aww-dorable and comfortable with each other. In fact their crackling chemistry just can’t be missed!

On being asked, how you guys broke the ice Richa said, “We met the first day and I was told by the director that there is a steamy scene and I was like okay!”

To which Angad added, “Richa is a very friendly co-star and we broke the ice by talking later on as we had to enact a particular scene and post that we become good friends.”

Ajay Devgn who is now expanding his Ajay Devgn Ffilm Productions, will now be producing a number of Hindi and regional films in association with Watergate Production.

With the intent of producing meaningful cinema, the production house has already started rolling an untitled Marathi film, which stars Nana Patekar in lead.

This untitled film will be directed by Satish Rajwade of PREMACHI GOSHTA fame and interestingly Ajay Devgn will be seen in a special appearance in the film.

Touted to be a family drama and the film will also star Sumeet Raghavan and Iravati Harshe.

The shooting for the film has already began as Ajay’s actress wife Kajol gave the ‘mahurat clap’ for this film which will be co-produced by Nana Patekar under Gajanan Chitra.

Imtiaz Ali is one of those few directors who know how to capture the complex detail of a couple’s life. And interestingly he succeeds in bringing the various aspects and conflicts of lovers very beautifully in all of his films.

His upcoming film JAB HARRY MET SEJAL has already made the audience super excited about it as its stars the king of Romance Shah Rukh Khan and the bubbly Anushka Sharma.

In this new song we see SRK and Anushka in a typical Punjabi Munda and Kudi get up. Both of them are looking extremely energetic in this dance number.

The visuals of the song will give you déjà vu feeling as few of its scenes look very similar to Imtiaz’s previous films like JAB WE MET and LOVE AAJ KAL.

‘Butterfly’ song will be rage as it sounds very refreshing and lively.

The teaser of Saif Ali Khan starrer KAALAKANDI will be out today. KAALAKANDI is directorial debut of Akshat Verma who wrote the cult film DELHI BELLY.

SAIF ALI KHAN IN KAALAKAANDI

KAALAKAANDI is a thrilling dark comedy that features the story of six characters from different walks of life. A raucous tale about life, death, karma, that barrels through one monsoon night in Mumbai.

In a still unveiled from the film we see Saif Ali Khan donning a hilarious hairstyle and make up. Looks like the film has plenty of quirky things to offer to the audience and it certainly raises our curiosity level. 

Produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam in a special appearance.
 
The film will hit the silver screens on September 8 this year.

Life of actors is very interesting as well as demanding. In order to get into the skin of their characters they can go at any length and chopping your hairs is not a big deal.

But when you are nurturing a beard and a handlebar moustache for a good one and half year long time it’s obvious that you get attached to it. Same is in case with our hunk Ranveer Singh.

The actor chopped off his beard and moustache as after wrapping up the portion of older Alauddin Khilji he will be now shooting for the younger Khilji and in order to look young he had get rid of his facial hair.

The actor posted a picture and a video on a photo-sharing site of his ceremonial-hair cutting.
