Salman Khan has worked with several Bollywood actresses in the past be it Preity Zinta, Aishwarya Rai, Shilpa Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma and many more. But for the first time he will be working with a Chinese actress. In TUBELIGHT he is working with Chinese actor Zhu Zhu.

During media interactions when asked him about the Bollywood actress and their tantrum, he said, “I have never had that experience with any of my co-stars. But yes, I have heard stories of actors throwing their weight around.”

Talking about working with Zhu–Zhu in TUBELIGHT, he said, “She is a cool girl, a thorough professional actress. No tantrums and we shared a good chemistry on screen.”

TUBELIGHT marks Chinese actress Zhu Zhu’s debut into Bollywood. The actress underwent special Hindi class to learn her dialogues in Hindi. As per reliable sources, the actress worked hard at her diction but since she only had very few days to learn, at times she would take longer than the usual to get the language right. And director Kabir Khan is known to be a perfectionist. Salman came to Zhu Zhu’s rescue. He would go over her lines before she takes, explaining the meaning of her lines. He even came up with easy ways to help her remember these lines.

Akshay Kumar’s next film TOILET: EK PREM KATHA touches upon an important issue of sanitation and defecation.

The trailer of the film will release in next three days. The makers are leaving no stones unturned to promote the film with a powerful message and also stating that toilet is one of the most important thing.

After rolling out two posters of the film, the third creative poster of the film shows the plight of rural area where women take lota (pot) due to lack of toilet (something we have actually witnessed in real life). The poster highlights the reality, which we generally don’t discuss in open and try to overlook, in a very subtle way by saying ‘Lota Party is coming your way’

Salman Khan is busy promoting TUBELIGHT which is set to release on June 23rd, 2017 and since it is arriving on Eid, which being Bhai’s lucky time period for the film to release, everyone’s expecting it to smash the records like he does every year. A lot has been speculated about the box office numbers of the film.

During media interactions Salman Khan spoke about the collections of the film and on what basis does he choose a role.

Speaking on box office collections of the film, Salman said,” You never know till the film releases. The overseas collection, the box-office collection decides the fate of the film. Your hard-core fans will go to watch your films on the opening weekend so your collections would be amazing. But then, usually the film drops on Monday-Tuesday. So, the eventual lifetime business of a film you only get to know on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.”

He added, “I don’t understand how people determine how much a film will earn on a certain day; human factors are beyond control and there can be many reasons that people wouldn’t turn up for the movie. So, how do you decide the collections in advance? So, when they tell me that opening weekend it will cross Rs. 100 crore, I don’t buy it. I will not compromise the quality to make sure that the film crosses a certain number; if it has to cross, it will cross. They didn’t expect this number out of BAAHUBALI; they must be still recovering right now.”

On being asked if he feels pressurized in the rat race to which he says, “I do have, but for different reasons. You do a film; you put in so much of hard work. That’s okay, but the reason that you have signed the film is because you think it will be a sure-shot hit. Now, the film releases and it is a flop that means your thinking has gone all wrong. And this starts making you think about the other film that you have just signed. So, now if such things happen, not only you lose the money and you go down in your career, but you also take others with you. All the fans that have paid to watch your film come out being disappointed, that disappointment is the worst thing that can ever happen. And of course, collections are important. This is our profession, our career. If you start a business, you don’t want to make losses. It doesn’t work like that. So, this is our business.”

Salman adds, “The only thing that I feel can draw audience to the theatres are the film’s posters and trailers in the theatres, promos played on television and information about the release date in papers. The people, who go to theatres, are the same ones who keep going to theatres all the time. Even today, when I go to a theatre, the first thing that I notice is the posters and I go 15-20 minutes before to see the trailers. So, I know what film is coming when. And that, I believe is the best and cheapest form of publicity ever.”

“We never promoted films earlier. There was one All India Radio channel and we used to go on Ameen Sayani show. So, during MAINE PYAAR KIYA I did one interview but after that, for the longest time I didn’t do anything. Producers used to put trailers, posters. There was no television at that point of time. People (still) go to theatres. Now, there are so many TV channels and radio channels. There were none then and the films used to run for 100 days, 3 years, even 5 years. Today, the lifetime business is four-six weeks.” snds Salman.

Earlier reports of Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani being approached for this film were doing the rounds but later in a report in Filmfare it was stated that Katrina has been roped in as a leading for SAAHO.

Now surprisingly reports of Devasena (Baahubali’s better half) i.e. pretty actress Anushka Shetty being confirmed for this film has started doing the rounds.

However with no official confirmation yet from the makers of this film it has to be seen who will be the lucky actress to bag this project.

If Anushka gets paired opposite Prabhas in this film then the joys of their fan would know no bounds.

Recently the actress shared a picture with her TIGER ZINDA HAI director and captioned the picture as, “Same location same costume different film 6 years later @aliabbaszafar”

Probably she is talking about her film MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN which released 6 years back and was also directed by Abbas. The film starred Katrina opposite Imran Khan.

In the pic both Kat and Abbas seems to be discussing a shot. With TIGER ZINDA HAI both Ali and Katrina will be working together for second time. Apparently the film will hit the silver screens in December this year.

Versatile actor Boman Irani popularly known for his role as Dr Viru Sahastrabuddhe aka Virus in 3 IDIOTS will play Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi in National Award-winning filmmaker Brahmanand Singh's next, titled JHALKI.

“It's a film about a little girl looking for her brother who is missing, while working as a child labourer. I canned my portions in a few days. Kailash Satyarthi is a person every Indian should be proud of. I shot at Mirzapur, it was 47 degrees. It's a wonderful realization to go there and understand the problems of people in different parts of the country go through,” Boman said while talking about the film.

Boman recalls, that he barely had time before he started shooting for this role, He maintains that portraying the character isn't all about imitating Satyarthi's voice or his way of speaking.

Kailash Satyarthi is a child's rights and education advocate and an activist against child labour. He founded the Bachpan Bachao Andolan in 1980 and has worked towards protecting the rights of more than 83,000 children from 144 countries.

“It's about understanding his beautiful way with children. He is so fearless while carrying out rescue operations. At the same time, with the kids, he was like a child himself. You take the spirit of the person instead of resorting to mimicry. Watching him with (Pakistani activist) Malala Yousafzai (they were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize together in 2014), seeing them refer to each other like they were a father-daughter duo was humbling,” Boman adds, admitting that he hasn't met Satyarthi yet but he had his director Brahmanand Singh promise him to arrange a meeting.
