Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Vikram’s upcoming film “Thangalaan,” where he portrays the leader of a tribal community.
During the recent audio launch, Vikram shared an emotional account of his personal struggles, revealing how a severe accident led to a broken leg and doctors predicting he would never walk again.
He spent three years in the hospital, undergoing 23 surgeries, but his passion and self-confidence helped him recover, leaving his co-stars in awe.
Co-star Parvathy Thiruvothu expressed her admiration for Vikram, calling him the best co-star she’s worked with and fulfilling her dream of working alongside him.
“Thangalaan,” based on real-life events, depicts the resistance of the people of KGF against British exploitation in the 19th century. The film also stars Malavika Mohannan, Pasupathi, Muthukumar, Hari Krishnan, Preethi, Arjun Prabhakaran, and Hollywood actor Daniel Goldragon.
With music by GV Prakash and production by Studio Green, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Originally slated for earlier release dates, “Thangalaan” is now set to premiere on August 15.

This event acknowledges Yash’s iconic portrayal of Rocky Bhai, a character whose journey from the streets to the gold mines has profoundly impacted Indian cinema, inspiring new narratives like “Thangalaan.”
