Debutant director Amit Agarwal’s Rom-Com FASTEY FASAATEY is just round the corner. A Production of Xpression Films FASTEY FASAATEY is produced by Charu Sumit Garg & Amit Agarwal and is distributed by Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The film is scheduled to release on 21st June 2019. Here are a few excerpts from a brief interview.

For a debutant director, when asked about his core thought of helming a Rom-Com, "For me, the director’s job is to manage the sensibility of a film’s story and it’s characters through all the departments of the filmmaking", says debutant filmmaker Amit Agarwal who is all set to release his film FASTEY FASAATEY. He also informed that it took him a good nine months to develop & lock the script & about one year to complete the pre-production, shooting and the post-production of the film. He also shared the scripting process that they undertook saying, “Drafts were re-written to perfect the script, post many readings, script doctoring & modifications, we finalised the script in 9 months".
Spending almost two years to get the film finally was it a challenge considering FASTEY FASAATEY being his first film to which he responded saying, "Post locking the script we started casting, pre-production, shooting & it took me one year to see the final finished film with all the post-production done. Of course it was a challenge but we managed, there are no excuse when you want to tell a story, now I am looking forward to the response from the audience".
From the trailer, FASTEY FASAATEY gives one a feeling of a Romantic Comedy & people are loving the story line which is set in the backdrop of a traditional family who want to ‘forcibly’ get their son Aakash married immediately while he tries to buy time to set his love life in order with a free spirited girl Anisha who has her own pursuits in life and is not thinking of getting married anytime soon. How Aakash walks the thin line with the help of his friend Dev and saves the day.
FASTEY FASAATEY features Arpit Chaudhary, Karishma Sharma & Nachiket Narvekar in the lead with a supporting cast comprising of Amitabh Srivastava, Neeta Mohindra, Sharib Hashmi, Anusha Jain, Ashu Sharma, Taranjit Kaur, Bijay Anand, Rajesh Jais and V M Badola.
