Divya Dutta who is known for her acting, is all set to be seen in a punjabi film slated to release next month. She plays the titular character in ‘Maa’ that stars Gippy Grewal as her son. The actress who is not afraid to experiment has been getting a lot of attention from the promos. In one of the scenes, she is seen driving a tractor and many of her fans are curious if she actually drove the heavy vehicle herself…
Dutta reveals that she learned to drive a tractor while shooting for the film and there weren’t any duplicates in the action either. Having spent her childhood in the small town, the actress recalls of having delightful afternoons sitting beside her uncle on a tractor while she was a child.
When asked about her experience, she says, ”Once I got the hang of it, I was like in and out of the village, doing all the action sequences, speeding up the tractor. It was a brilliant experience for me to ride a tractor, felt very close to my homeland.”
The film is releasing on 6th May, 2022, around International Mother’s Day. Along with Divya Dutta and Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Babbal Rai, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Vadda Grewal, Raghveer Boli and Arushi Sharma will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.
