Nava Dhalapathy Sudheer Babu will be coming back to the screen with an unusual fantasy adventure called Jatadhara. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the movie is being produced by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora of Ess Kay Gee Entertainment. Following its trailer and song teasers creating buzz, the official trailer dropped today by none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu.
The trailer takes audiences to a fantasy world surrounded by ancient myths, rituals, and evil spirits. Sudheer Babu is cast as a tough and intense guy who, even though he doesn’t believe in ghosts, accepts the role of a ghost hunter. The conflict begins when a greedy man performs a taboo ritual that resurrects an evil spirit by the name of Dhana Pisachi.
Sonakshi Sinha is the frightful ghost, and her makeup as the creepy villain is both visually interesting and disturbing. Perhaps the most chilling glimpse of the trailer comes in a scene where Sudheer’s character is sipping blood from the floor — an intense metaphor for the radical nature of his struggle against malevolent forces.
