Vijay Deverakonda is all geared up to revise his action-hero persona with Kingdom, a gripping spy thriller that explores the realms of espionage, treachery, and self-overhaul. The much-awaited trailer, released in Tirupati and afterwards on social media by Vijay, provides a hair-raising peek into the life of secret agent Surya — a character that tests Vijay physically as well as emotionally.

“We created #Kingdom with passion in our hearts,” Vijay captioned the trailer post. Gowtam Tinnanuri, a Jersey filmmaker, directs the film, which features music by Anirudh Ravichander, and it is going to be an exciting blend of high-octane action and emotional depth.

A Mission Gone Wrong
In Kingdom, Surya is given a mission of stealth which goes haywire in unexpected ways. The mission fails, getting him into prison — where he discovers himself making improbable connections with the very ones he had gone to kill. The trailer promises layers of deceit and redemption, as Surya fights inner demons and outside enemies in equal proportions.

The movie features Bhagyashri Borse, Satyadev, and Manish Chaudhary in lead roles. Awe-inspiring action scenes, gripping jailhouse drama, and a poignant musical score come together to form a raw cinematic experience.

Pan-India Appeal with Voice-Star Power
Kingdom will be released in Hindi as Saamrajya, with Ranbir Kapoor doing the voiceover for the Hindi teaser. Telugu and Tamil versions have voiceovers by Jr NTR and Suriya, respectively, and the film’s pan-India status is a guarantee. The teaser itself attracted millions of views in a matter of hours, creating huge anticipation for full release.
