Birthdays are always grand in the Shivan–Nayanthara household, but this year it was something special. On her 41st birthday, filmmaker-husband Vignesh Shivan gifted Nayanthara a Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre valued at almost Rs 10 crore. This all-electric luxury coupe is a stunner, and the family photos shared online have gone viral in no time, making them the talk of social media.

Shivan revealed the surprise in an Instagram post bursting with warmth and gratitude. He shared several pictures of the family posing with the sleek new car and wrote, “Love you truly, madly, deeply my azhagi love you. From your Uyir, Ulag, big uyir, all your beloved people. With an overwhelming heart & a love-filled life thanking the universe & God Almighty for always blessing us with the best of moments… only filled with abundant love, unwavering positivity & pure goodwill.” His emotional caption underscored the deep affection the couple shares, a bond that was developed over years before the two tied the knot in 2022.

Extravagant gifts have been a signature part of their celebrations. In 2023, Shivan gifted Nayanthara a Mercedes Maybach worth approximately Rs 3 crore. This year, too, in 2024, he surprised her with a Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600, which is reportedly priced at around Rs 5 crore. This year’s Rolls-Royce Spectre has marked the most luxurious addition to their impressive collection.

Her upcoming projects include collaborations with big star names such as Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Yash. More than a dozen films are in various stages of production, including Dear Students, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Mannangatti Since 1960, Patriot, Mookuthi Amman 2, Hi, and Rakkaiyie. With a thriving career and a happy personal life, the year ahead promises much from Nayanthara.
