Priyanka Mohan recently had a close call when the stage collapsed during an event at the Kasam Shopping Mall inauguration in Torrur, Telangana. While attending the event on Thursday, the actor, along with Congress leader Hanumandla Jhansi Reddy and others, experienced a terrifying moment when the stage gave way. Priyanka escaped with minor injuries, but Jhansi Reddy and a few others were injured in the incident. The collapse caused panic among the attendees, but Priyanka was safely escorted away.
Following the incident, Priyanka shared an update on Twitter, assuring fans of her well-being. Her post expressed gratitude for the concern and well wishes she received:
“In light of the accident that occurred at an event I had attended in Torrur today, I wanted to let my well-wishers know that I’m okay and was lucky to escape with minor injuries. My prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery to those who may have suffered any injuries in the incident. I would like to thank everyone for the kind messages of love and care they sent my way, Thank you.”
Priyanka, who made her acting debut in 2019 with the Kannada film Ondh Kathe Hella, has since appeared in Tamil and Telugu films, including Doctor, Etharkkum Thunindhavan, and Captain Miller. She is set to star in the upcoming romantic-comedy Brother, directed by M Rajesh, slated for release on October 31, 2024. Additionally, Priyanka will have a special appearance in Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, a Dhanush project, and she will be seen in the Telugu action-thriller *OG* alongside Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi.
