Most recently, Dhanush was seen attending the premiere of Son Of Sardaar 2, starring Mrunal. Before this, she was present at the wrap party of his upcoming Hindi film Tere Ishq Mein. Adding fuel to the fire, a Reddit user claimed the two even share a joint playlist on Spotify — a small but telling detail that has fans buzzing.

According to a source close to the duo, the relationship is real but still in its early stages. “Yes, it’s true that they are dating. But it’s too new, and they’ve decided not to go public just yet,” the source revealed to News18 Showsha. Despite keeping things low-key, they aren’t trying to hide either. “They’re comfortable being seen together and friends believe they’re quite compatible,” the source added.
Mrunal’s increasing presence in the South Indian film industry reportedly brought the two actors together. While working across Mumbai and Hyderabad, she met Dhanush at an event, and their friendship gradually blossomed into something deeper.
