The makers of Jatadhara have unveiled the official poster of their upcoming mythic-supernatural thriller, promising a cinematic experience like no other. Blending ancient Indian mythology with futuristic visual storytelling, the film stars Telugu actor Sudheer Babu and marks Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha’s Telugu debut in powerful, transformative roles.
Poster Teases Epic Battle of Divine and Demonic
The striking poster showcases a blazing trident piercing stormy skies, symbolizing divine intervention. Below, Sudheer Babu appears in a fierce, warrior-like avatar, preparing for a cataclysmic battle. A silhouette of Lord Shiva hovers above, while the underworld burns red with the eerie presence of Dhanapisachini — the demonic guardian of forbidden treasures. The teaser is set to release on August 8, with the makers teasing, “History in the making.”
A Mythological Universe Powered by VFX and AI
Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, Jatadhara is a VFX-heavy, AI-enhanced film that merges science fiction and Indian mythology. Speaking about the film, Sudheer Babu shared, “The response to the first-look poster was overwhelming. This script transported me to another world—it was life-altering.” He added that the film’s unique storyline and creative team made it a dream project.
Also featuring Shilpa Shirodkar in a pivotal role, Jatadhara is produced by Zee Studios and Ess Kay Gee Entertainment. The production team includes Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda, with co-producers Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora. Divya Vijay serves as the creative producer.
A Universe in the Making
With music by Zee Music Co., Jatadhara marks Prerna Arora’s second major collaboration with Zee Studios after Rustom. It is expected to launch a new cinematic universe rooted in mysticism, mythology, and high-concept visual grandeur.
