Hombale Films and Kleem Productions’ highly awaited animated epic Mahavatar Narsimha is all ready to arrive in theatres on July 25, 2025. Featuring a visually breathtaking spectacle, the film paints alive one of Lord Vishnu’s most ferocious avatars Narsimha, the half-man, half-lion incarnation.
The latest teaser that recently dropped on the internet is quite stunning and impressive, featuring beautiful visuals and powerful background scores. It opens with a deafening roar coupled with the intense line, “When faith is tested, he rises,” promising to set high expectations for viewers once the film releases on the silver screen. The producers promoted the release by stating, “Come to the theatres on 25th July 2025… LET THE ROAR AWAKEN YOUR SOUL.”

Helmed by Ashwin Kumar, the animated feature had its global premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in November 2024. “The film is not only about animation — it’s a homage to India’s spiritual and cultural heritage,” said Kumar. Based on the Vishnu Purana, Narasimha Purana, and Shrimad Bhagavat Purana, the tale is one of the great battle between Hiranyakashipu, the demon king, and his son Prahlad, whose strong faith invokes the divine avatar of Narsimha.
This is a legacy,” Kumar said, describing how the film is intended to overcome conventional mythological narration and make Indian animation and VFX internationally competitive. The film intends to appeal to audiences of all ages with an interesting story based on belief, power, and divine intervention.
