Allu Arjun’s upcoming big budget venture, tentatively named AA22xA6, is already creating huge hype, even before a teaser or poster has been launched. The highly anticipated movie, directed by blockbuster director Atlee, recently hogged the limelight when a photo of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, claimed to be from the sets of the film, went viral on social media. Arjun can also be viewed in the photo wearing a sporty tracksuit, his hair pulled back into a bun, a sight that has only spawned fan theories and rumors.
Although it hasn’t been established if the leaked image is indeed from AA22xA6, fans have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to express their thrill. The image, posted by a fan on X, was captioned, “Is this Leaked Pic of AA22 ? @alluarjun ????” with hashtags such as #AlluArjun, #AA22, and #Pushpa2TheRule trending almost immediately. Comments poured in calling on the makers of the film to release an official first look immediately.
Directed by Atlee the director who last worked with Shah Rukh Khan on Jawan — AA22xA6 is his first film with Allu Arjun. The movie is billed to be an high-octane action entertainer and promises a new visual treat. Though initial reports suggested the possibility of a two-hero setup, Allu Arjun’s team recently announced that the actor would play double roles, generating curiosity regarding the intensity and scope of the story.
In a previous interview with News9, Allu Arjun expressed his views about the project: “Yes, it’s my twenty-second film, it’s with Atlee garu who made Jawan, and we have joined hands for it. I like the concept he told me, and I like his dream, and I felt it was similar to mine on many fronts. We hope to deliver a very new visual spectacle film to Indian cinema.”

Joining the cast in June was Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone, who added more star power to the movie. A special promo video was put out by the makers to welcome the actress aboard, where she can be seen sitting with Atlee in script meetings and rehearsing on set. The teaser gave the impression that Deepika will bring her action skills to the movie. The caption strongly introduced her as a “queen” who is set to “conquer,” suggesting a powerful and dynamic character.
