According to close sources, Tushar was going through a prolonged phase of mental stress due to lack of work, which may have contributed to his tragic decision. His untimely demise has left fans and colleagues in deep sorrow.
The news was confirmed by actor Ankur Wadve, known for his performance in Chala Hawa Yeu Dya, who shared a moving tribute on Instagram. Posting a photo of Tushar, Ankur wrote, “Kashasaathi Re Mitra? Kaam Yetaat Aani Jaataat… Paan Asam Jaychan Navhat! Atmakatha Ha Marg Nahi,” expressing disbelief and sadness over the loss. He added, “Tushar, Tujh Harvanam Mhanje Aapla Sanglayanch Harvanam Jhalaam,” reminding followers that suicide is never the answer, even in difficult times.

Tushar married Siddhi in 2022 and had expressed hope for a new beginning, even sharing wedding photos with the caption, āNew season begins.ā Professionally, he had built a respectable body of work in theatre, television, and film.

He gained recognition for his role in the Marathi TV series Tumchi Mulgi and played a key supporting role in Sanjay Leela Bhansaliās Bollywood film Malaal. His filmography also included appearances in projects like Clove Mirchi, Mann Kasturi Re, Bahubali, Unad, Zhombivali, and Hey Mann Bavre. He also contributed as a director under his banner, Ghantnad Productions.
