At the 2025 International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, superstar Rajinikanth was honoured for completing 50 remarkable years in cinema. The celebration became even more special as the legendary actor was joined by his entire family, including wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, son-in-law Vishagan Vanangamudi, and grandchildren Yatra Raja, Linga, Ved Krishna, and Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi. While Rajinikanth’s presence drew admiration as always, it was Aishwarya and Dhanush’s elder son, Yatra Raja, who unexpectedly stole the spotlight.
Pictures and videos from the event show the 19-year-old dressed in a dark shirt and trousers, standing tall beside his grandfather. Fans immediately flooded social media with comparisons, noting how strikingly similar Yatra looks to both his father, Dhanush, and his grandfather, Rajinikanth. Comments ranged from calling him a “young Dhanush” to celebrating him as a perfect blend of the two stars. One fan wrote, “Yatra looks like the young version of Dhanush,” while another said, “His attitude resembles Thalaivar.” Some also pointed out that even his younger brother, Linga, bears a strong resemblance to Dhanush. Though Dhanush himself did not attend the event, fans felt Yatra’s presence more than made up for it.
The honour bestowed on Rajinikanth marked a significant milestone in his illustrious career. Speaking at the event, the actor reflected on his journey with characteristic humility and passion. “If I look back, it feels like just 10 to 15 years because I love cinema and acting. Even if I had 100 lives, I would want to be born as an actor—as Rajinikanth,” he said, thanking fans for their unwavering affection.
