TV mogul Ekta Kapoor delighted fans over the weekend by bringing together two of Indian television’s most iconic characters Komolika from Kasautii Zindagii Kay. On Sunday, Ekta shared a playful Instagram reel featuring both Hina Khan and Urvashi Dholakia, who played Komolika in different versions of the hit show.
In the reel, Ekta teases viewers with, “Ek nahi, do Komolika!” as the camera reveals Hina and Urvashi in full diva mode, with the classic Komolika theme music playing in the background. Adding a humorous touch, Ekta captioned the video: “Ek reeel ke price mein do do! Directed by (badly), @4umehra.”
Fans flooded the comments with excitement and nostalgia. Urvashi dropped red heart emojis, while fans called for a new season of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, writing, “Bring KZK 3 with a new Komolika!”

Hina Khan Reflects on the Pressure of Playing Komolika
While the reel brought joy to fans, Hina Khan recently opened up about the pressure she felt stepping into such a legendary role. Speaking to SCREEN, she admitted she was initially hesitant to play Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
“I wasn’t confident about playing an antagonist, especially one as iconic as Komolika,” she said. “Urvashi Dholakia had already nailed it, and I feared I wouldn’t do justice to the role.”

Hina credited Ekta Kapoor for encouraging her. “Ekta believed in me. She said, ‘You are my Komolika.’ Her conviction gave me the confidence I lacked.”
