Music composer and Bigg Boss 19 contestant Amaal Malik recently sat down for an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, where he spoke candidly about his journey on the reality show. Addressing several speculations that surfaced during and after his stint in the house, Amaal finally cleared the air on his so-called “mystery girl” and his frequent visits to the Bigg Boss confession room.
Putting all rumours to rest, Amaal firmly clarified that none of his female co-contestants were connected to his personal life in any romantic way. He stated that despite various narratives floating around, no one from the house was his mystery girl. Amaal explained that the women in the house were his co-contestants and friends only up to a certain point, as long as friendships naturally existed.
He stressed that he holds complete respect for all of them and did not want baseless speculation to negatively affect their personal lives. Amaal emphasized that he was not trying to belittle anyone but wanted to clearly quash the rumours once and for all. According to him, linking him with any of the contestants was unfair and unnecessary.
The composer also addressed curiosity surrounding his mystery girl, making it clear that he would reveal details about his personal life only when he feels ready. Until then, he requested people not to connect him with anyone from the show, reiterating that such assumptions could create problems in others’ lives.
Amaal further opened up about his frequent appearances in the confession room, which had sparked speculation among viewers. Many believed that Bigg Boss was offering him guidance or special treatment. Dismissing these claims, Amaal revealed that those visits were strictly related to his professional commitments.
He shared that he was the last contestant to be finalized for Bigg Boss 19, with his contract being signed as late as 1:30 a.m. just a night before entering the house. Unlike other contestants whose contracts were completed months in advance, Amaal entered the show while actively juggling a flourishing music career.
With multiple song releases and shoots lined up with various actors, the production team would call him to the confession room to coordinate professional matters. He added that footage exists to back this up and clarified that Bigg Boss never guided him in the game.
Balancing reality television with a demanding music career was challenging, but Amaal maintained transparency throughout, making it clear that his priorities and professionalism remained intact even inside the Bigg Boss house.
