Viewers of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 have been eagerly trying to guess the contestants, and a few names have been in the air, including popular names such as Elvish Yadav, Avinash Mishra, and Mohsin Khan. Ankit Gupta, who has worked in Udaariyaan, was also rumored to be joining the list. But the actor has now clarified that he has turned down the offer to appear on Rohit Shetty’s stunt show.
Why Ankit Gupta Opted Out
While having an open chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ankit Gupta revealed why he rejected Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. The actor said he’s been working on back-to-back projects relentlessly and feels he isn’t mentally or physically in the right space to accept such a high-intensity show right now. He said, “I could have waited for some more time before joining Bigg Boss, I could have prepared mentally and physically.” Gupta added that a lot of mental and physical energy is needed on the show, and he is not ready for it this year.

He continued, “This is the first time probably, mere mann se nahi aa raha hai ki mujhe karna chahiye.”. That’s why I said that I require two to three months of break for myself.” Gupta clarified that Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi are both one-time shows, and he would like to give his best if he were to participate. He concluded that waiting for another year would be a better idea to rejuvenate and recharge.
Prioritizing Self-care and Other Projects
Apart from quitting Khatron Ke Khiladi, Ankit Gupta has also quit Ravi Sargun’s show Terre Ho Jaayein Hum. The actor opened up about the fact that he requires some time for himself to recharge and prepare for upcoming projects. Fans can be assured that although Ankit is taking a break from the limelight for now, he is busy taking care of himself for the moment.
