In the clip posted by the makers of the show, Ankita was chasing comedian Krushna Abhishek after he had playfully swiped an ingredient from her. Chasing after him, Ankita exclaimed, “Main pregnant hoon”, leaving her co-stars stunned and fans guessing.

Following Ankita’s shocking announcement, Krushna humorously said that she was expecting a “lalla” (baby boy). Actor Karan Kundrra, however, who was also a part of the show, rushed to her to ensure the news was true. Although the promo did not mention whether the announcement was real or part of the script of the comedy show, fans went into overdrive on social media with both positive and negative reactions. Some wished the actress congratulations, while others doubted the claim. One fan said, “If it’s true, heartiest congratulations! But please don’t make a joke out of it.”
