In an unseen footage of Bigg Boss, Jay is having a conversation with Karan, Tejasswi, Umar & Nishant who are casually discussing adoption procedure in our country. Jay shares his knowledge on the same & puts forward some important points that a layman may not have an idea about.
He shares how stringent the laws in our country are & adoption is not an easy process. Later Jay talks about his foster children whose glimpses we have seen on the actor’s profile. Jay opened up about how he has sponsored education & financial aid to the family of the children.

One fan pointed out the sad reality when Jay & Mahhi were trolled earlier this year for not posting pictures of their foster kids for which Mahhi had to give a clarification that the kids were sent to their homes to be safe when Covid cases were at peak in Mumbai. He wrote, ‘Logo ko foster parents ka matlab nahi pata hai and bechari Jay aur Mahhi ko kitna sunate rehte hai ki khudki bachhi hui toh unko bhul gaya.’
