In tonight’s New Year special episode of Bigg Boss 18, Laughter Chefs contestants Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar joined the show to promote their series. Along with them, the host of Laughter Chefs, Bharti Singh, brought her signature humor and charm to the house, ensuring the night was packed with laughter and entertainment.

The fun began when Bharti teased Samarth and Abhishek by indirectly mentioning Isha Malviya’s name. Upon entering the house, Abhishek and Samarth greeted the contestants, and Abhishek shared a warm hug with Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 fame Karan Veer Mehra. Karan playfully referred to the duo as the channel’s “nepo kids.” Bharti then joined the banter, asking Samarth and Abhishek, “Tell me, who is Isha here?”
Abhishek tried to deflect the topic, saying there were other things to discuss, but Bharti reminded him of Eisha Singh’s presence in the house. Eisha humorously asked, “Have you forgotten me?” to which Abhishek replied, “How can I forget you?”
Karan Kundrra didn’t miss the opportunity to tease Samarth Jurel and asked, “Tu kya bolke aaya hai?” (What did you tell them before coming?). For fans who remember Bigg Boss 17, Samarth’s entry as a wild card had left Isha Malviya shocked, as they were in a relationship at the time. This caused tension between Samarth and Abhishek, who was also in love with Isha. The two were at loggerheads throughout the season.
However, in Bigg Boss 18, Abhishek revealed that he and Samarth are now close friends, saying, “Humare bich ek shaks nikal gaya aur ab hum bohot close ho chuke hai.” (The person between us is gone, and now we’ve become very close.)
Meanwhile, the house remains tense as seven contestants Kashish Kapoor, Shrutika Arjun, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chaahat Pandey—face nominations this week.
